Refurbishment & Dilapidations – Brighton.

We’ve just started another refurbishment project in Brighton, in Frederick Place, a building known well to us. This is the ‘sister’ to the building next door, where we carried out the same refurbishment project last year, and which made a huge improvement. To be able to let a property anywhere, not just in Brighton, the whole package has to look good, and that includes the entrance and stairwell, areas which see a high level of traffic, take a lot of wear and tear, and which are not usually looked after as well as the offices. This building entrance was starting to look a little tired and dated, and not particularly appealing, the entrance door itself had a feeling of the 80’s about it:). Bearing in mind that this is the first area that staff and visitors will see, we must never under estimate the importance of that first impression! Once again we are completely refurbishing the communal areas: new entrance doors and intercom, hallway, stairwells, lighting, flooring, decoration throughout, and refurbishing of toilets. We will also, once again, get rid of the brown woodwork, and the dated floor tiles, and increase the area of the entrance matting. Refurbishing an entrance or reception does not need to cost a huge amount of money, small changes can make a big difference, and we are always happy to look at areas and offer some advice…just give us a call. While we are there we are also completing dilapidations on a recently vacated floor…by the time we’ve finished, the building will be looking spick and span, and ready for a new tenant to move in:)
